My Story
Taj – Director, Designer, & Landscape Lead.

From 2012 – 2019, my best friend (Distinctive Dragon Trees) & I focused on small landscape renovations and Dragon Tree installations, becoming trusted suppliers to some of Perth’s leading builders and landscapers. During this time, we built strong relationships with top local growers, who inspired us to open Verge Garden Centre;
a space dedicated to offering Perth’s highest quality plants to the retail market.

Over the next 4 years, Verge Garden Centre earned a devoted following for its distinct, sophisticated aesthetic, becoming a go-to for passionate gardeners and landscapers alike.

As the Garden Centre grew over the years, I naturally began blending our landscaping background with my passion for design, leading to increased demand for our landscape installations and design projects.

In 2024, I made the tough decision to close the retail side of Verge Garden Centre,
and to focus entirely on my true passion – designing and crafting thoughtful, detailed, and sophisticated outdoor spaces.

I now pour absolutely everything I have into our Landscape Designs & Installation Projects.

My love and passion for good design & masterful craftsmanship, continually fuels me to push the needle within the landscaping atmosphere.

When I’m not Designing or Landscaping, I’m at our showroom who I now share again with Distinctive Dragon Trees, curating stock & growing my next batch of plants which are to be installed in future projects.
